GE Lighting celebrated that LED lighting technology had won the Nobel prize

LED (Light Emitting Diodes) is a revolutionary lighting technology. As early as the 1960s, the “father of lighting,” -GE scientist Nick Holonyak invented the first red LED for practical application, laid historic foundation for development of more efficient lighting technology in future.
